Bodegas Puente de Rus

Our 2,750 hectares of vineyards are located in the region are called "Baja Mancha" (Lower Mancha), at an average altitude of 722 metres above sea level. The soils of varying composition (clay, sand, limestone ...) feed the roots of our vineyards and lend them some of the specific features associated with this region. Similarly, the characteristics of the mountain system and rainfall ensure full development and the appropriate production of acidity, sugars, tannins and polyphenols, giving our grapes great balance and structure.

The natural process of cultivation is accompanied at all times with a thorough monitoring of our vineyards. This monitoring allows us to carry out the necessary actions to prepare the various production lines, adjusting the characteristics of the grapes from the time of sprouting and controlling the growth cycle. In this way, we ensure the quantity and quality of the fruit obtained and control the behaviour of the grapes during processing.

Based on these growing conditions, for decades we have been selecting the varieties best adapted to our soil and environmental characteristics, also incorporating international varieties recognized by the quality of their products. These include: Airen, Macabeo , Sauvignon Blanc, Bobal , Monastrel, Moravia, Grenache , Cencibel, Syrah , Cabernet Sauvignon , Petit Verdot and Merlot . At present they offer their best fruit, with balanced acidity and high in sugar, generating wines of the highest quality.
