HISTORY

Bodegas Puente de Rus is located in the town of San Clemente, in the south of the province of Cuenca. Established in 1945 as the Cooperative Society of Our Lady of Rus, it draws on tradition and embraces the culture that revolves around the cultivation of the vine.

In this way, in the elaboration of its wines, it perpetuates the care in the details that we learned from our elders. In chapter XXVI of the 2nd part of QUIXOTE, we can read that “How the innkeeper offers them the good wines of the area”, which indicates the age and establishment in the area of the wine culture.

The character of our land and a climate are imprinted on our wines, with such characteristics that give our grapes excellent properties for the elaboration and production of high quality wines.
